Born on May 16, 1988, to Shyam Kaushal who is an action director by profession, and Veena Kaushal who is a housewife. His younger brother Sunny Kaushal is an assistant Director.

2. Foodie for life

Not many actors prefer to opt on food as a priority since they have to maintain a proper physique but Vicky says he is a complete foodie and loves eating Pani Puri, Jalebi Rabri, Aaloo Paratha and all kind of Chinese dishes.

3. Assistant Director

He was the assistant for Anurag Kashyap for the movie Gangs of Wasseypur. Its a movie that everyone might have watched at least once. But, little did we know that it was assisted by Vicky Kaushal himself.

During his initial stage, the actor did several workshops under Kishore Namit Kapoor, along with a lot of theater. He was even seen in the movie Live Shuv Tey chicken Khurana in 2012.

His all-time favorites are Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Kaho na Pyar hai, Gangs of Wasseypur, and Black Friday from Bollywood. And when it comes to Hollywood it’s 12 angry men.

He is a brilliant actor and for this, he charges a high amount for the films. His current movie charge is 3-4 crores per movie.

He played the lead role in Raazi opposite Alia Bhat which was directed by Meghna Gulzar. Also, his roles were fab in Manmarziyan, Sanju, and Uri.
