Sania Mirza is among one of the two Indian female tennis players to win a WTA title, and the only one she is to reach the top hundred singles ranking. She is the third Indian woman in the open Era after Nirupama Maan Garden Nirupama Sanjeev.

3. Sania Mirza first held a tennis racket at the age of 6

As we all know that she is very interested in playing tennis. At the age of 6 she first held a tennis racket. Her first coach was Krishna Bharati from whom she learned tennis. Later on she learned tennis from her coach,Roger Anderson.’
